Accessibility
SKINPATCH is built to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic structure. Proper headings, landmarks and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Keyboard support. Menus, accordions and forms are operable by keyboard, with visible focus states and ARIA attributes on interactive controls.
- Reduced motion. If your device sets “prefers reduced motion,” our animations and transitions are switched off.
- Contrast and text. Our palette is built around high-contrast ink-on-light surfaces, and text can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout.
- Image descriptions. Product and editorial images carry alt text that describes what is actually in the picture.
Where we're honest about limits
We review the site against WCAG 2.1 AA guidance as we build. We don't claim a formal certification — we claim that when something is hard to use, we treat it as a bug.
Found a barrier?
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, tell us: hello@skinpatch.co or the contact form. A person reads every message and replies within one business day, and fixes ship fast here.
