Day Patch vs. Night Patch: Which One, When?

Every SKINPATCH is the same material — medical-grade hydrocolloid, no acids, no fragrance. So why two patches? Because a blemish lives through two very different shifts, and the film that's perfect for one is wrong for the other.

The day shift: be invisible

During the day the spot faces makeup, sweat, friction, light — and other people. The job is cover that doesn't announce itself. Our Day patch is an ultra-thin 0.03 mm matte film with a feathered edge that disappears under daylight and makeup — through work, the gym, or a day on camera. Wear it 6–8 hours, then swap in a fresh one.

What you trade for invisibility: a thinner film holds less fluid. It absorbs — but its first job is protection and camouflage.

The night shift: absorb everything

Asleep, nobody cares what the patch looks like — so the film can be thicker and absorb harder. The Night patch is a high-absorb film built for 6–8 hours of uninterrupted wear. Press it on before bed; it draws out fluid overnight and turns opaque white as it works. Peel in the morning, don't pick.

The simple rule

  • Going out, being seen? Day.
  • Going to sleep? Night.
  • A breakout that spans both? That's exactly why the Combo box exists — one sheet of each, covering the full cycle.

Both patches, same rules

Clean, fully dry skin. No serums or oils under the patch. Press firmly for a few seconds. Give it 6–8 hours, then replace. Single use, and keep it away from the eye area. The white dome is the proof it worked. Full walkthrough on How It Works.

Hydrocolloid patches support the skin's natural barrier; they are not a medicated treatment and not a substitute for prescribed acne care.
